Computational particle physics: lattice QCD (approaching the continuum limit with physical quark masses)

Abstract:
Lattice QCD reached a new era, in which full results with physical quark masses and controlled continuum extrapolations are available. After a brief introduction and a discussion on the main difficulties a handful of such results including hadronic spectrum, quark masses and thermodynamics are discussed.
